Welcome to Cairn Media! We’re a multimedia full-service production company founded and directed by James Stevens and Myrsini Chorianopoulou. Proudly based in the stunning Cairngorms National Park in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. We work with businesses that are local, across the UK and further afield too.

Meet the Team
James Stevens
I have 10 years freelance media experience producing, directing, filming and editing hundreds of projects for businesses and television. I am also a qualified drone pilot and hold an Operational Authorisation with the CAA. I have worked on several TV series including Springwatch, The One Show and Channel 4 News, as well as documentaries for BBC and Netflix. A naturalist at heart, I moved to the Cairngorms in 2016 where I also started work as a wildlife guide and surveyor.
I have worked with organisations from charities and not-for-profits, to sports and events. I enjoy being a part of their team and exploring creative ways to promote their work. I pride myself on delivering high-quality media products that align with client’s branding and enjoy the experiences of working in different sectors.
Myrsini Chorianopoulou
Having worked within the BBC NHU Digital team, I have contributed to various impactful projects designed to engage and inspire global audiences. I have been part of award-winning teams delivering high-impact digital campaigns, such as BBC’s ‘Our Planet Earth’ campaign. These experiences have solidified my passion for using storytelling as a tool to evoke emotion, drive change, and create lasting connections.
In addition to my creative endeavours, I bring over a decade of experience in business management. This has equipped me with expertise in strategic planning, project oversight, marketing flows and fostering growth within diverse teams. Combining these skills with my creative passion allows me to deliver mulit-media solutions that are not only visually compelling but also strategically aligned to achieve impactful results.
